I didn't know it was possible for the aperture to be set to an infinite level...This came out very well, not noisy at all, and very strong.

i don't think it can if you have the lens on the right way.
it has the aperture at infinite because the lens isn't attached; it's the reverse lens technique.

Whoa, never heard of that technique before, but it does sound very cool And it also makes sense as to how you can have an infinite aperture

it's a cool technique, but a pain in the ass. you either tape the lens to the camera body or hold it. and you have to have REALLY good lighting or else you'll get blurry photos. i've had times where i've shot over 200 photos and maybe 3 were okay. =/
