All of the dresses were based on photos of actual dresses. I made (very) minor adjustments to the designs for the drawings.

Hobbie is <3. My favorite. Wedge and Tycho seem like they could take anything with dignity. And Wes always seemed to have fun with everything he could. I meant to post the larger versions of these individually, but I never got around to it. XD

Thanks! I don't think I originally meant to draw them all with more detail than I usually draw with, but when I looked at the dresses, they turned into real pictures. The dresses demanded high detail. :3 I'm happy with it and I'm glad so many people have liked it.

I can't actually pick my favourite. Janson is clearly embracing his inner female there... Hobbie's expression and pose are priceless. Wedge doesn't look like he'd like to be reminded that this was his idea. I hope Iella got to see him like this, or at least some holos. As for Tycho, he almost manages to look dignified, which is a challenge.

It was actually Syd's idea to do Lolita dresses. She searched for pictures of dresses and picked which dress would look best on what guy. When we saw the horrible purple and pink bow dress, we knew it was just awful enough for Janson to troll in.
I used to be able to say Hobbie was my favorite (as he's my favorite in general). Now, though...I can't anymore. They all look so good, I love it best as a whole.

It had to go this far. Granted, I was only going to do sci-fi (Lady GaGa inspired) dresses until Alison presented me with Lolita dresses (it started with the pink one for Hobbie).
To be honest, I'm surprised with myself. Usually when I'm working on something larger, I start to question my ability to complete it (these days those questions begin before I start). But at no point in this did I ever question my ability to complete it. It was that much fun to do, even though it is pretty evil.
I'm glad you love it. I'm sure I marched through this whole thing just so I could get your reaction to this mess. XD
