Description
Concept Art for David Weinstein's Azureus Rising. Please visit the website and check out the final proof of concept shortfilm!
I worked as art director/concept artist on this and created the designs for the scorpion tank, flying drone, cars, architecture and gun turrets and also painted key frames.
Night City Vista. I think this was partially used as a backdrop matte in the film.

Hello,
I saw your work and want t invite you to submit your work for the competition in Switzerland " Future Cities, Future Life."
fhrf.org/fhrf/future-cities-fuβ¦
Future of Human Rights Forum is currently accepting submissions for its international art competition, Future Cities, Future Life.Β Through this initiative, FHR Forum will work with artists, designers and architects to envision an ideal world based on the fundamental principles of human rights.
Future Cities, Future life is open to both established and aspiring artists who have an interest in human rights, development, and the environment. Here we ask artists to use their work to answer the question: Β How would you like to see future cities (including villages, town, and communities) in 100 years?Β Submissions mayΒ reflect real or fictional cities, and are encouraged toΒ incorporate aspects of green living and environmental sustainability.
If you are an artist, designer, or architect and would likeΒ to showcase your work to an international audience, thenΒ submit your work to FHR Forum beforeΒ October 30, 2014. Your work will be judged by a panel of experts and selection decisions will be made inΒ November.

I love, love, loooove cityscapes! I really like how the city lights are distributed, I find that it gives me a different feeling than many other "city at night" scenes... It's a nice feeling. Kind of mysterious, kind of calm, yet there's some sort of beating vibrancy. Kind of a "Gotham" sort of feel, or something. I love it.

Hrm. I think I like this night shot better than the day one. Thinking it must be the central building. It's a rather climatic structure. ^.^

Does the world slightly transform in the nighttime? Or did you just make slightly different versions of the vistas?

it's slightly different at night... some buildings are only visible out of light?
