Description
Hm...lol, actually I wanted to do an entry for the current EOW - 'Isolation Level 5', but this was nothing like the image I had in my head... so lets call it a futuristic subway station!I will prolly do another one for the theme...
and also maaaaybe detail this one out... some time. *cough
this was done rather quickly, 1.5 h, no ref.

Very impressive. How exactly do you knock these out so fast? What kinds of brushes/ techniques are you using? I've been trying to get a couple of decent speedpaintings with the same look and feel by using brushes with low opacity, but they overlap oddly.

don't change the opacity in the settings up there, control it with pen pressure alone. But reducing the flow in the menu works nicely...

almost reminds me of one of those like chinese pantings where they placed the human figure like, not as the centre piece in order to portray man in relation to his surroundings in a humble/majestc manner

Now this is cool. I am not one to traverse the underbelly of the train lines, even so, I still enjoy them, when I take them and when it is a good time of the day, and I am within a group of 3 plus people and I look shabby enough to not be bothered with for a mugging.
But I digress, I do like this one, and did that poor soul just miss the train by just a few seconds or are they just chilling there for size reference, regardless, I like the design of the train, since it is si0fi looking yet easy to place as to what it's practical use is, and the subway station also is of a grand uban feel to it, I love it. Great work.

ich verwende unterschiedliche brushes je nach Motiv denk ich. Der chalky brush wΓ€r hier weniger passend gewesen... aber ich bevorzuge den nach wie vor!

Hahaha Chaos actually used my topic suggestion? Awesome
This is the kind of speedpaint I'm talking about, really descriptive despite its brevity. Nice palette and sense of atmosphere. Did you mock this up in a 3d program beforehand?

nah, I'd only participate for fun and self-challenge. Won't take my entry to poll should I make it in time...

I love the use of blue for the light outside and the warmer yellow on the inside. Very well done. Maybe one day the subway would be like this!
