The 1985 Alice, made for tv?? Ever see that? I used to love it as a kid... there's old clips of it on youtube, now I realize it's mostly silly songs (esp the jam song with Carol Channing), but still a classic!

Not too much time, I've had some practice with drawing on myself... thanks

is it hard to draw upside down?
Im assuming of course that is how you drew this......
unless of course you drew it with the help of a mirror. That I would imagine would be even harder....haha
take care...drive safely

Not too hard, the more you do it the more you get used to it... the view is interesting

out of the two ya posted, i like this one more. the contrasting horizontal and vertical markings for the vegetation makes me think of french paintings. the cute rabbit head with a character contour, has an awesome style behind its hand. the loose blues for shadows are so cool too.
i'm thinking too bad there isn't a time lapse video for this work, because it'll be lovely to see its birth, life, and death, since its a temporary art piece.
what kind of markers did you use? what inspired you to do this, originally? how much time did it take you?
thanks for sharing your fun! if i had the courage, i'd love to try this too, someday.
side note: this may sound stupid, but i kinda thought you were a guy till now. kinda weird, huh? i still thought you were a guy, but with a sexy slim waist-line, but then i checked you profile and thought, "oh. how neat. i was wrong."

I know, video documentation would've been cool... I did that for a painting not too long ago, it's so much work, and really memory-heavy for the computer. But the end result is fab.
I use crayola markers for all the body art. Awhile back I did some collaborative work with a photographer... I'd draw on myself (and other people) and he'd take pictures... still feel the urge to do the body art once in awhile. I don't know how much time I took... really rough guess is under 30min... they don't take too long.
You should try it if you're interested! Especially if you just do something on an arm or stomach, that way you're not completely nude, all "serious" parts are hidden

hmm ... i don't know if i got any crayolas, but now ya tempted me!
i've suddenly got these weird ideas about body art and music: [link]
or MAD posture folds, along with stop-motion animation.
gosh, ya got gears turning in my head, thanks for the inspiration!

They're super cheap, and non-toxic water-based, wash right off! (well some colors might cling for a day, like reds, but *poof* pretty gone)
Glad your gears are a-turnin', go for it, flesh out those ideas!
