Eh. I finished my Illustration assignment early, and was re-reading "The Wee Free Men," and the teacher wanted me to work, so I "illustrated" the afore-mentioned book.I think it turned out rather well.
Well, okay, the skull-helmet is a little odd, his expression looked a little different before I inked him, and the twigs and leaves are WAY out of scale. But other than that, it's not too bad, I think.
Inked, then colored with colored pencils. (I don't think it's really mixed enough for Mixed Media)

...That is ridiculously awesome. ^^ I read both the books, they were wonderful. I think you've really captured the idea here. Although he seems so... delightedly happy it's almost strange. Maybe he's stealing something.
