Fun fact about me: ever since I was really young, I had this habit of associating characters with certain colors. Call it a consequence of being obsessed with DK64, but I can't help but color code things like this. (Seriously. I have memories of picking certain color crayons out of the box and acting out various scenarios as though the crayons were the Kongs.)
Also fun fact: still going through a minor obsession with RWBY and its world, so... I kind of accidentally RWBY AU'd again? Point is, this chart started out as me getting what colors to associate with whom straight for that and then I just went "Wait... what colors WOULD I assign everyone?" and boom. That's how we got this.
Some associated colors are self-explanatory, some kind of have hoops to jump through, but bottom line: guarantee that when you put one of these into my head, that's the color I think of.
Some of them would also make great icons...

Nah. I admit, a good portion of my friends do, but with me it's just a separate continuity with other rules that I toy with occasionally. I'll usually make it like that in an AU (like how with this picture it's a RWBY AU), but mainline I usually go with our DK being Junior himself simply because that's what I've grown up believing in because I played only DK64 so much growing up.
((Case in point: there being a representation for the pink DK Jr. in my 'DK is Junior's son' continuity, but not for my 'DK is Junior himself' continuity. Because I can.))
Aside form that, I like my gijinka of Junior/Jay in that continuity! His hair is cute. :3
