Latest colouring experiment.

This went partially wrong, because I tried to hog too much detail into it. OpenCanvas eats memory like crazy when working with large images. I was about 2/3 done of what I had planned when I hit the wall of 2 minute hard drive crunchings after every stroke. I had to flatten the image and add simplified details to the 1/3 of the image that was left unfinished. I think I did fairly well though, even though I had several things completely uncoloured at the time I hit the memory limit.

The pose isn't exactly anything revolutionary. It's a slightly modified version of the pose I also used in 'MiSha - Rainy Days Wallpaper'.

Don't ask me what the location in the image is, as I have no idea. Perhaps a temple of some sort. Maybe the girl is a priestess or something. ^.^; I dunno. Kinda modern wear for a theme like that. Oh well.

I also added some grapes on the pillow. ^^ Was planning to add a drink of some sort there too, or maybe a vase or can of some sort, for more exotic setup... but that, along with an idea of a torch on the back wall had to be dismissed due to the memory problems.

The most perceptive of you might notice that I added tiny lips of some sort. I felt like that would fit the scene. Normally I don't prefer lips on my characters, so this is an exception.

Nitpickers might notice such a thing as the shading of the character's skin and clothes. The left and right side of the image don't match, but there's a reason to it. There's light coming in from both directions, if you look carefully, you see how the skin is affected by the light on each side, while the middle is left less lit, partially darkened even.

Umm, yup, that about covers that. While it's an experiment gone somewhat wrong, I think it's a decent piece to add to my gallery. Mature content due to implied stripping and toplessness (even though not revealing).
