Backstory:
Gray Pride was born in Cloudsdale to a set of parents that she only knew partially about, largely since her father disappeared for an inexplicable reason. She Never felt like she blended into of Cloudsdale, which was starting to gain a reputation of breeding the fastest fliers. While Gray wasn't particularly a slow-winged pony, she did not care for athletic competition. She instead leaned toward a career in Theatre, but sadly, her school never showed any interest in building an auditorium. She got her cutie mark after a speaking scene during a play, and at that moment she realized that she was not like other ponies. When she was old enough to leave home, she moved to Baltimare and began taking Theatre classes and later busking in the streets with a group of other performers that did little skits. She loved the idea that she could help other ponies through performance and decided that that was the career path for her (although she still does perform theatrically under another alias from time to time). She learned what her cutie mark really meant. Her moving to Baltimare also led her to discovering her true feelings on her own gender. She chose her new name to symbolise her pride in who she is and to inspire others to be proud of who they are. As time passed, she started to veer away from theatre as a full-time career and started to dive into helping other ponies through presentations, and she is now a semi-known motivational speaker.

Personality:
She is opportunistic ,happy-go-lucky, and very warm and nurturing in her approach to communication. This contrasts the fact that she can be rather harsh on herself. She is in touch with herself and the skies around her, which fuels her need to contribute in any way that she can. Being the older sibling has given her a very slight 'I rule this town' attitude, however.

Realtionships:
Gray has two biological parents but has lived with her mother for a long time and is the closest to her. She had a hard time relating to Quick Spell and his dad because she thought they wouldn't accept her, but now they are tighter. She had to endure the same things when making friends, but has no problems befriending others otherwise. She has befriended some of Quick Spell's old friends, as well as some new friends when she moved.

Current Home:
She has moved from Baltimare to get away from the bustle of the city and now lives in the Foal Mountians
