Name: Quick Spell

Nicknames: Spell, Q , Quickster (does not like it though)

Gender: male

Species: unicorn

Age (human years): 24

Cutie Mark: N/A (( The reason he does not yet have his cutie mark is because, while he has a special talent and knows how to apply it to his everyday life, he does not know who is as a pony, which is what seem to be one of the three major circumstances that lead to getting a cutie mark, based on what we see in the show ))

Special Talent: pyrokinesis.

Hobbies: Since his abilities and training in fire magic can increase his body temperature, he has taken up windsurfing and ice sculpting.

Family: father, step-mother, (hittheceiling.deviantart.com/a… ), mother, step-sister (OC: Gray Pride ).

Friends: has a small group of friends, but is the closest with Caesura Sparks and Mystic Elegy.

Backstory: Quick Spell was born from a family of unicorns who focused on magic that was related to fire. His father was a fireman who used magic instead of water to put out fires. Quick Spell never really had any interest in learning how to use fire magic until he learned what his father did for a living and wanted to try it for himself. He snuck away with the fire department one day and saw how they put fires out. He never got caught. He then started creating smaller fires with the appliances around his house. One day, he took creating fires to put out way too far and caused a small explosion that left him with a nasty scar that still lies under his fur. His mom thought that his dad taught him to play with fire and, thinking the dad would become a danger to himself and others, filed for a divorce. His dad dated around a while after the divorce until he fell in love with and married a pegasus with a child just a few years later. As he was growing up, Quick Spell realized that it didn't take him very long to learn how to make fire at all, but he couldn't figure out why he couldn't use his abilities for good like his dad. This made him realize that he wasn't sure if firefighting was his special talent at all if he couldn't handle the intensity of his own powers, or even what his special talent would be to begin with. When he was old enough, he left the house to explore the world and, hopefully, find somepony to help him control his abilities.

Personality: Quick Spell is very loyal to and protective for those in his life, but he will hold a grudge for a long time if he feels betrayed. Socially, he is the quietest pony in his family aside from his birth mother. He's abrasive, and he's not afraid to step on other ponies' hooves or take control of a situation that he doesn't like. Quick Spell is often seen by others as cold and aloof, but he usually tries to at least get along with others in most situations.

Relationships: Spell as two biological parents, as well as his stepmother and stepsister, who he has good relationships for the most part. He and his birth mother,Nova Posit, had a turbulent relationship due to how often she jumped to conclusions about him. He has a hard time seeing his family with his travels, but writes to them often. To keep company, Spell has his pet tarantula Thimithi and his friends. He befriended Caesura and Elegy long before he ever met Gray and is friends with them to this day. He and Ostinato have an small acquaintanceship but tend to butt heads.

Current Home: Baltimare. Is think about moving to the Foal Mountains, where his friends and family are.
