This is an overhauled Buzz Bee Rapid Fire Tek. It holds up to 9 shortened Nerf Darts and fires a little over 60'. I added an internal RSCB clip (which is amazingly enough way more efficient than the original system) and modified lever, stock and barrels. The whole thing is about 117cm long.Related content

although it is leaver action, it looks like it would be at home in a world war 2 science fiction setting
I look forward to seeing what you can do with the slingfire. Β Some nerf reviewers on youtube and elsewhere report problems with the slingfire but at least one guy i speak to says it performs as well as any other elite blaster.

Thanks for the invite - unfortunately I do not use facebook. I am glad you like my stuff, though! If you would like to keep in touch we could do that through deviantart. I have recently done a rather extensive tutorial about this kind of mod on blasted.de. If you are interested I could tackle an English version sometime.

On a more general topic, do you think it's possible to do the non-painting part of modding in one's apartment or is that asking for logistical and health trouble? Β I imagine it wouldn't be loud and dremel use would be infrequent. Β

You would be correct. Unfortunately I don't have an actual work space so I do all my mods in my apartment and on the balcony. You could do all of this inside but sanding the stock might leave a whole room covered in a fine, probably toxic dust - so it might be a good idea to go outside for that and the (spray-) painting.
I will start working on an English tutorial when I got some spare time

Like I said - I have done this inside before. While I did not die buried under an avalanche of dust I had to vacuum EVERYTHING

Just checked out the rest of your gallery and DAMN that is a refreshing body of work. In particular the bulkier of your Hammericks (Mavershots?) is one of the most interesting and inspired designs I've seen in recent memory. I look forward to seeing more from you. Feel free to tote some of these over to /r/Nerf on Reddit.com, too. It's great exposure and the people there would love 'em.
