Well, ok. Its not a real moonstone cannon, but a mass driver with a large battery attached to it. Using a weld latch, slider and a wire hydraulic the cannon can extend and retract like on the real Delphinus.

Charge the cannon, take down your enemy's shields with the turrets and then take out their LS and wire systems with a massive explosion from a massive overcharged energy packet!
