Description Rákóczi tér station of Budapest Metro line M4, Hungary. The train sets are Alstom Metropolis units slightly customized for Budapest. The security guard keeps an eye on the brand new installment and the passanger exchange of the fully automated, driver free trains. (A person is still in the cab but doesn't do anything but check the systems.)

The station features light panels on the pillars that is rather futuristic and almost blinding for some persons with visual problems. I have an immature cataract and the strong lights from eye level make my right (less used) eye blind, watering and aching for an hour or so. Other friends with minor visual impairments complained for the same. Otherwise the crypt* station is beautiful.

* The station themed as a memorial for Francis II Rákóczi, Prince of Transylvania and leader of a major uprising against the Hapsburgs in 1703–1711. The stair well features names of dominions of the Prince, the tunnels are painted to our tricolor and the whole structure resembles a cenotaph. Interesting function for a metro station, I guess.

Meanwhile don't forget that this image is brightly copyrighted. Don't use it even for that purpose without my prior written permission. Copyright infringement infringes my copyright. Really.

You may want to see somewhat more cheerful image of the same station, so I invite you to visit the stairwell   by TomZoy  — and also to   to be a part of a great project that helps you reach more visitors.

I like the wide range of tones in this photograph, it reminds me of Westminster Underground train Station in London, which I go through almost everyday twice on the way to my University. The guard contrasts nicely with the blackness of the tunnel and the white of the lights.

Thank you very much, and also for the fav After a group declined it, I received some good remarks about the composition flaws and even I realized some points where I could improve it, so it is in my future plans now to re-take it even better...

You are very welcome.

I have noticed that some of these users who decline work such as yours and many others do not know what they are talking about half the time.  And when they mean composition, it is usually miniscule things that 'distract the viewer'.

You're right. But in this case I had ideas that makes the image better. And I am a kind of person who re-takes if that is possible. The "worst" thing to happen is spending some time and realize that this is the best-ever image of the place; or, spending some time and have new and different good pictures Re-thinking and re-taking works usually doesn't ruin the original, fortunately

Indeed, as you can then look back and see what you have made different.
