In Germany its a big tradition to fill a pair of shoes on St. Nicholas Day with candy or presents. So all children are excited about the day and clean their biggest pair of shoes and hope that St. Nicholas will fill it. But I think the kitten overdid it a little when they used this pair

To be honest I'm not the biggest fan of the Christmas times. You have on the one hand the Martha Steward Christmas which everybody wants and on the other hand the (often) poor reality. Instead of a contemplative time we hunt for Christmas gifts and when the family finally found the table we dispute with each other. In most countries the weather is horrible during the times and the „Christmas Blues“ is on the hunt for victims but this year I want to kick him in his „hohoho“!
Science proofs, that pictures of cute cats can bring happiness so I made an Adventca(t)lendar.
Everyday you will find an picture full of cuteness and when the Christmas Blues knocks on your door stab him with cuteness and he will vanish! Kitten are a wonderful antidepressant without side effects

Exactly what hoschie said. Some people may not be able to take in a pet on such short notice. Also, I'm not sure if the kitty would want to be put into a shoe, lol.
