Oooo, you've been to the Rosamond Gifford??? They really are experts at hiding! Every other time I've been there they always stay in the back. This time they were laying near the front. XD They even chased a squirrel around the enclosure at one point! The zoo in the winter is a completely different experience compared to the summer. Seems like whenever it's hot out, the animals all stay in the shade and sleep

I go to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo fairly frequently. The animals are definitely more active in the wintertime and if you go earlier in the day. I always try and get there as soon as it opens. You'll get the best pictures that way!

Ah... I wish I could go more often. I live about an hour away and I go to school about 6 hours away, lol. I always love when I do have time to get there. Hopefully I'll be able to go again in the spring before it gets too warm out ~
