Very intriguing viewpoint. Sci-fi craft from this point of view; The name of the class would be Swallow... along with the function. If it were to have forward swept wings and the tail being a "mandible " for trapping ... pirates or blockade runners.

I kind of reminds me of those little plastic eagles you could buy in some museum or zoo gift shops that you could balance on your finger by the tip of their beak. I imagine, sight unseen, that this works on the same principles.
