Mount Wuyi(武夷山) scenic area, located in Nanping city, Fujian province, is a red sandstone landform(Danxia landform, 丹霞地貌) area. But in fact, the scenic area is just a small part of the whole Mount Wuyi, a mountain range that divides Fujian and Jiangxi provinces.

The main peak of Mount Wuyi: 27°51'35.98", 117°46'59.84"

Hum... I think I should explain: these peaks may be similar to those in Guilin, but they are different. These peaks are made of sandstone and belong to Danxia landform; The peaks of Guilin, on the other hand, are made of limestone and belong to Karst landform.

I certainly wasn't confusing them with those of the Li Jiang valley, with which I am very familiar!

My point was that anyone who has show any interest in China and its amazing scenery has almost certainly seen this view from Wuyi Shan, even if they haven't been, because it is one that can be seen all over the internet:
