Description
This is Freonwen, daughter of Rhonwen and current queen of my Amazon tribe. You see Rhonwen, the mother of the tribe in my gallery but this is not Freonwen's mother, because Freonwen lived about 500 years later.

Freonwen, as you can see, is not very young anymore. She's in her late fourties but looks a lot older because she had a very hard life. She lost her tribe, the man she was engaged to and her children in the age of 18, she was raped and abused in a period of slavery. After her escape she fled far away in the north and became a mercenary. As army - leader she served the country for almost thirty years. So she was outdoors really often an you can see this in her face.
The two crossed lightnings in the background are Freonwen's name in Amazonic runes

The Picture is painted with acrylic colours on normal paper. I love the way, her eyes and her hair turned out, but it was hard to paint her wrinkles.

But all in all I'm content.
