Onym frowned as his sword shifted on his back, looking around before slapping his face.

“How the bloody hell did I get so lost?” he muttered, looking around the New Jersey forest. “I wasn’t even trying to get up north! I was heading for Florida! Screw you bugs bunny, I should have gone STRAIT at friggin New Orleans!” he muttered, his sword singing off his back. “What do you think, Vlad?” he asked, only to get no response from the sword.

“Yeah, me too. We’re lost.” He finished, sighing as he looked at his chest.

At least he had gotten something out of coming this far north.

A mega stone.

He had seen a transport of pokeumans and supplies, he didn’t know if it was PRT, Bases, or Pokextinction, but he didn’t care. He had dropped down, killed the driver and let it crash. Pokeumans had poured out in shock to try and find the attacker, while my gremlin self had snuck in and stolen a mega brace and stone.

He didn’t know how to use them yet, but he could guess.

He had also taken the stone out of his mega brace, and put it in his sword pommel. He was the first owner of his own mega Sword.

Anyways, after that he had got shitloads of lost, and had ended up in Jersey while his group was probably waiting at the rendezvous point down in Tallahassee. Don’t ask him how he got that lost, but he still was.

And then, his ears perked up. Someone was running through the forest.

As he looked down, he froze.

Human.
Human with a sword.

Human with a LOT of weapons on the run from pokextinction members.

“Oh this is gonna hurt.” He muttered, before a sickening grin came to his face. “Gonna hurt them that is.” He finished, grinning as he flipped Vlad into a reverse grip. “Hey red. Corruption only works once, right?”

‘Yes, we’ve been over this.’ Red, the voice in my head, muttered tiredly, as if he had answered this question multiple times before.

Which he had.

“When I mega evolve, my chest gem becomes a giant, hard to carry around shield thing, right?”

‘Yes…?’

“Can I Corrupt it to be able to change shape for me on a whim?”

Red was silent for a moment, before the sound of someone slapping themselves in the face was heard.

‘Why did none of the others with this ability never think of that?’

“Because I’m insane!” Onyx responded, smirking wide as he slapped the pommel of his sword as he jumped down to get between the fleeing human and the pokextinction.

And when he landed, everyone had stopped and looked at him in shock as he placed a claw on his gem.

And it began to morph like liquid ruby, which it currently was.

“Cool.” Onyx said, smirking as he brandished Vlad as he held out his other hand, the liquid ruby instantly spiraling around it to become a kite shield. “Hey, human! What’s your name?”

“Orion.” The teen male said back, looking at him confused.

“Well Orion, I would say judging by how tired you look and how ragged your clothes are, you’ve been running from these guys for a while, yeah?” he said, smirking.

“Yes…?” Orion said, distrustful of the gremlin pokeuman that had just landed before him.

“Take five, rest your feet, call back to base about clones of you and your friend, do something. I’m gonna take care of your little pest problem.” Onyx responded, his grin turning sickening as his red eyes darkened to a sinister blood red.

And then he lunged forward, and the slaughter began as Onyx laughed insanely during the entire thing, his sword growing with every slice as his shield dissolved into a ruby stream, blocking any impacts that might have hit him.

“Look at me, ma! I’m Gaara!” he laughed, his ruby catching a bullet before it could even hit him by solidifying around it, before flipping over and launching it back, nailing the pokeuman in the head and killing it. “This is the most fun I’ve had since we had to evacuate our base!”

And then, he pouted as his opponents began to run away. “Hey! Come back here!” he shouted after them, before turning to the shocked looking teen at the amount of bodies around him, yet not a single drop of blood was spilled. “Hey kid! See yah later! I got things I need to finish killing!” he said, laughing insanely as he left Orion behind, running after the fleeing pokeumans.

Orion just blinked, before saying three words that summed it up perfectly.

“What the fuck?”
