Description
So this was a silly idea I had after I was asked to do more TG/TF art. Never one to do anything halfway -- and since I've been wanting to do more visual storytelling -- I made an entire comic around it.ΒThe story of Little Red Riding Hood is really old and has gone through a lot of changes and variations over the years. The version we know best today is of course based on the version written down by the Brothers Grimm back in 1812, but the story is much older than that... though the Grimm version is, as far as I know, the first version in which Red is saved by a woodsman. Earlier versions, such as the one written down by Charles Perrault (who first introduced the red hood) had the girl simply die at the end after the wolf ate her, and in other, even earlier versions she escapes on her own.
The older versions of the story can get pretty gruesome and/or suggestive, actually... at least one old version has Red stripping naked before she gets into bed with the wolf, and I think you get the idea.
In my version, both Red and the Wolf know they're in a story, and all the variations. I originally planned on having them make references to various versions and differences between them, but I decided that the comic was already talky enough as it is.

This is great. Now we just need Red to somehow become a big bad (she-)wolf and then the story is back on track!
