Description
Another interpretation of the S.I.R (Standard Infantry Rifle) from the novel World War Z. The rifle was manufactured out of wood, due to the limited production of composite materials like polymers due to the zombie threat the US was facing. Despite this, the gun was effective in terms of slow and steady sweeps of areas in the US. This one is more like what it is in the book, I believe to be a hybrid of the AR-15 and AK-47, basically a cost effective gun with great reliability and accuracy. Since it fires a 5.56mm round, I stuck with the M-16/AR-15 magazine. The top variant is for close quarters engagements, where as the second is a mid-range assault rifle. The final is the long range sniper rifle, which I made with a longer barrel and a scope on the handgrip. Of course I also added the flip job pig sticker on the gun for melee combat, aside from using the Lobo.
