Okay so the chunk of the song doesn't exactly work for this pic, but the song inspired it and that was the closest chunk to a match.

Huh. I've noticed that when I'm happy, I draw Neshae and when I'm down, I draw Raahn. XD

There is darkness in Raahn's soul before he meets Leona. He is more or less a loner aside from the couple of friends he has. Though he spends all of his time searching for power and immortality so he doesn't even get to see them often. Not many positive emotions flow in Raahn's life before he meets Leona. This pic actually takes place shortly before his run-in with the flesh-eating plant where he meets Leona. He's more or less reached his limit with being underestimated and considered a freak and so he's looking for a way to destroy the world, or at least the valley where his hometown is. Only when Leona hangs around him and pounds some sense into his head does he completely turn to the good side.

I'm kind of disappointed with the background. It's supposed to be a mountainside illuminated by lightning, but I'm not sure you can really tell...
