I figured I'd give some background on Neshae. Ever since he was a little kid, he loved his father's fire sword. He is Rayman's twin brother and back then, was a little more sane. Mister Dark had learned of a prophesy saying that a limbless person would destroy him. So he decided to destroy all the other limbless creatures. Rayman and Neshae's dad stood up to stop him, accompanied by their mother, who he met along the way. And they found the Fire Blade, which very few people could use.

Neshae discovered he was able to use the Fire Blade at a very young age and kept trying to get to it. He was always getting into trouble. Then after his thirteenth birthday, things changed. Dark came back and destroyed their planet, forcing the family into an escape pod. Their father stayed behind to hold off pursuing enemies while Rayman, Neshae, and their mother escaped. Then Dark captured their father and killed him with the Fire Blade.

The pod was hit by some enemies that chased after them and it crashed on the planet Rayman and Neshae now live on. Neshae was the first to wake up. When he did, he saw a female vampire (Jomeiah) about to bite Rayman while he was unconscious, so he threw a rock at her to distract her. She chased after him and caught him, then bit him. He went through a small period of depression, and even changed his name to Verterus, meaning "to change". She was teaching him how to survive as a vampire when they started on a mission with three other vampires to kill a vampire hunter. Along the way, Neshae fell in love with Jomeiah and went insane. But then they were ambushed by the hunter and got separated. When Yaashi (one of the other vampires) showed up, he said that Jomeiah had been killed by the hunter. One thing she had wanted Neshae to do was change his name back, so to grant her one last request, he changed it back. Then, with the help of a sorcerer, they found the hunter's lair. But Yaashi betrayed them. In the end, Neshae defeated both Yaashi and the hunter.

Eventually, Neshae found Rayman again. Rayman and Alaesia, a girl who had mysteriously shown up in limbless form with no memory, were on a quest to find the Snake Cross Amulet when Neshae found and nearly bit Alaesia. Rayman woke up and stopped him and the two were reunited. And together, the three found the amulet and defeated Dark, Neshae taking the final blow after finding the Fire Blade that Dark had hidden.

That's all the important stuff. The only book left that has already happened before TAoDaN is The Witch's Stone and not a lot happens there. In TAoDaN(by both me and ~Dreyfus2006 ), Neshae finds Dreyfus, a werefoxdeer that gets into trouble when a hunter tries to shoot him. The two flee to Neshae's world and meet a bad guy who is trying to take over the world but can only be defeated by a vampire. So he and the hunter chase them for a while and then they are captured and chased by Mister Stone, and so much more. In TAoDaN 2: The Connection, the two form a certain connection. In another world a clone factory produces evil twins that are programed to seek and kill their originals. Neshae runs into his first and he and Dreyfus have to find the factory and destroy it. In TAoDaN 3: The Secret, they realize that they have this connection and have to find the secret behind it and keep that secret from falling into the hands of a close evil.
