Description
This is what you get when you watch too much Peter Pan and spend too much time reading a book about Vampirates. XD You get the urge to draw a vampirate about to get eaten by some lizard monster thingy. Or at least I do. XDSo yeah another remake here. This time of this one:
I love the picture, I'm very proud of it still, but there are flaws that I just can't stand. Like the choppiness of outline and the white spots all over the place. >_< Those did not show up on my monitor when I was drawing it, now that I can see them it takes away from the greatness of the pic.
So I redid it. I think it looks totally kick ass now with the better detail and the sweat and spit and blood worked in. Hey, if you stick your hand up to keep razor sharp fangs from chomping on you, you're gonna get your hand cut.

This really gives me the inspiration to try and remake some old but memorable pieces in my gallery.
You did such a good job with increasing the quality of this piece.

Neshae's looking better and more professional every day.
Problems here are only two, though they are both rather large.
The first is that the monster looks hardly any different; I think you could have improved upon him, because his relative simplicity and lack of skill in artistry is distracting compared to Neshae's level of detail. The monster also blends in with the background, so even though it distracts you you can't really see it. o_O My recommendation would have been some crocodilian references.
The second thing is the perspective, which would have been fantastic were it not for the hilt and hand in the foreground. They are really cool, a lot like a 3D movie, but their angle is rediculous in that, compared to everything else's perspective, both are just hanging in mid-air. His hand I can believe--the hilt, though?
Looking back at it, it is ironic how the most eye-catching and the most important and creative parts of the picture are actually the most disruptive elements. I think it could easily be fixed by improving the creature to match Neshae's detail. Then again, if you're like me, you never go back and fix a picture once it's posted. 8P
As a side question, do you think I should post all my incomplete works?

Thanks for your critique. I realized as much when I was working on it, but wasn't quite able to fix those things. I tried. *shruggs*
As for your question, go for it. Even if it isn't finished I'm sure people would still like to see them. I would.
