Here are Neshae's kids, Damien and Gale from Boys of Heroes. I plan on sticking this scene in there at some point. THat dark, shadowy thing right there is a dark shadow. Nasty thing to have on your back. And it's picked Damien and Gale as its next victims. I just kind of got dark shadows on the brain right now and wanted to draw one. (that dark shadow is horrible, by the way. They actually look a lot closer to those creatures in that movie "Alone in the Dark".) Gale has materialization magic, so he can summon his hammer from thin air, while Damien is happy with any weapon he can grab, which, unfortunately, happens to be a stick at this moment.

Facts about dark shadows: There is no known way to kill them. They are made of solidified darkness with cloudy wisps instead of fur. They have a power called Fear that sucks the strength, warmth, and courage from a victim, making them almost too terrified to fight. They are expert trackers and can sense a victim's aura, so there is absolutely no way to hide from them. They are assassins for sorcerers and can get into a person's head to find out who they are.
