You, my friend, would benefit from an art class. An art class would give you great tips on how to improve. For example, you drew her good and unlike the Canopy one there aren't partially-colored spots. However, more than 50% of this picture is negative space (aka empty). So 50% of your picture is wasted pixels. I'd recommend next time that you crop the picture down so that most of the picture is positive space.
