Description Chapter 2

The woman stopped somewhere in the forest. She turned around.

"Now to answer your question, that thing has been posing as someone looking for a vampire to save the world and when a vampire agrees, he kills them." she said.

"What is it?" Neshae asked.

"A creature created by Hafeli to kill vampires that will try to stop him. We call them slayers."

"Why vampires?" Neshae asked.

"It is said that only a vampire can defeat Hafeli. They have the speed, the strength, the near invincibility, and some, the intelligence and insanity."

"Okay." Neshae said. "Who are you and how did you know to help me out back there?"

"My name is Roehnah. But you can call me Roeh. I am working for Pseudan, who is trying to defeat Hafeli. He has sent several of us to find a vampire to help him."

"What about the second question?" Neshae asked.

The girl sighed. "You ask a lot of questions. Call it luck. Not it's my turn. What's your name?"

"Neshae." Then on an impulse, he added, "The One, Greatest, Limbless Vampire."

"And I assume, since that slayer was trying to kill you, that you'll help save the world."

"What if I said no?" Neshae asked.

Roeh rested her ruby sword on her shoulder. "Well, being an off duty vampire hunter, I'd have to kill you."

"Oh. Well I guess I could tag along." Neshae said, while thinking, Just try and come a little closer so I can bite you.

"Now come on." Roeh said. "That slayer will be tracking you down now."

Neshae glanced behind him. "Tracking me down? Well then let's wait for it and kick its ass."

"It will kill you before you even put a scratch on it." Roeh said.

"I can kick it's ass."

"And you were displaying it so well when you were pinned to the wall and about to get your heart cut out."

"I was caught off guard." Neshae argued.

Roeh sighed irritably. "Do you remember when that slayer was chanting something?"

"Yeah."

"Well, it was chanting a spell." Roeh said. "It numbs all of your abilities so that he has even more advantage over you. Try calling the fire in your sword."

Neshae did, and failed. Startled, he asked, "How long does it last?"

"If we had allowed him to finish the spell, then you'd be pretty defenseless for about a week. But since we left early on, it should only last about an hour."

Neshae looked behind him again. "Now I REALLY want to kick his ass."

Roeh grabbed his hand and pulled him away. "Come on."
