Chapter 7At first Neshae thought he had come face to face with Mister Dark. The man was clad in a dark cloak and had a similar hat, but they were green. They hid every feature the man had.
"Hello." the man said.
"Have fun." Roeh said and closed the door behind her as she left.
"Well hello there." Neshae extended a hand. "I'm Neshae, the One Greatest Limbless Vampire."
"Good." Pseudan said, though he didn't shake Neshae's hand. "You should do well in your first mission."
"And what would that be?" Neshae asked.
"We have enemies approaching the perimeter. I wouls like you to take care of them so we can show Hafeli that we are stronger than he." Pseudan said, then let out a bone chilling, maniacal laugh.
Neshae raised an eyebrow. "Uh, wouldn't it be better if you use some of your Ysnoej clones to get rid of these guys and sneak me into Hafeli's lair, taking him by surprise?"
"Clones...oh. Uh...no. I have a plan. You do as I say or Roeh will stake your heart." Pseudan said.
Confused, Neshae left the room and met Roeh on the other side of the door. She was playing with the handle of her sword.
"Well, you heard the man." she looked at a window. "Go on out there."
Neshae glared at her then jumped out the window and took flight, looking for the enemies Pseudan had been talking about.
He found a group of people coming from the north. THough they all seemed very familiar.
It can't be...Neshae thought as he was able to make one of them out. Rayman?
