Description
Chapter 6Alaesia suddenly burst into flames. Intense heat melted the hands of the toy soldier holding onto her. The flames died down and she kicked the robot to the side.
“Looks like Shadow Santa’s unconscious. Shield’s gone.” She said.
Before the robots could react, Ly had frozen her robot while Dorithmir electrocuted his with water and Alaesia melted the head of Rayman’s, being careful not to burn him as well.
They were running back when they saw Dreyfus running towards them.
“Where’s Neshae?” Alaesia asked.
“Razorbeard took him. He’s unconscious, trying to fight off Shadow Santa.” The werefoxdeer said.
Neshae soon realized he did not have his Fire Blade with him. But then he remembered that it had been take when he was captured.
“What are you talking about?” he asked the Shadow Santa. “My body’s right here!”
“No. We are in your head, Neshae. And we shall battle for complete control over your body. Your friend might have been able to wake you up, but I shall be in control once again.”
“You’ve been controlling my body?!” Neshae shouted. “You asked for it!” He leapt at Shadow Santa, attempting to bite him, but merely went through him.
“You can’t beat me that way. I’m a shadow.”
He reached forward and scratched Neshae across the chest. He struck at Neshae again with the other hand, attempting the same attack. Neshae grabbed the hand.
“But..” Shadow Santa said.
“Hey, if you’re solid enough to hurt me, then that’s touching me at least when you’re attacking, which means you’re solid enough for me to fight back then.” Neshae said and threw Shadow Santa over his shoulder. “You’re not so tough. How did you manage to take control over me in the first place?”
Shadow Santa got up. “You can’t defeat me, Neshae. I am the darker side of Christmas. To every light, there must be a dark. There has to be a balance. So even if you did manage to destroy me, you’d still end up destroying Christmas as well.”
Neshae sighed. “Do NOT call the dark side evil! So annoying when people do that. And you know what? There is no evil in Christmas. It’s too damn happy. What balances it out is Halloween, which isn’t exactly evil, but there’s a little bit of evil involved sometimes here and there. Depends on how you celebrate it.
“And I remember now. You are nothing more than a creation of my imagination after having to listen to all that Christmas music. You aren’t even real.” After a pause, Neshae added, “Dang this plot sucks. This is turning into one of those movies where they’re having to fight monsters and it turns out to be all in their head cause they’re dead or something.”
“Muohohohohohoho! All part of Shadow Santa’s evil plan!” Shadow Santa said.
Neshae cracked up when hearing the evil Santa laugh. “You gotta be kidding me!”
“Nope. Crappy plot definitely because of me coming into your life and making an incredibly exciting story out of it.”
“So are you gonna attack me so I can attack you back or are you just gonna stand there making no sense?” Neshae asked.
Shadow Santa charged at Neshae, striking at him once again.
