Chapter 3Neshae summoned the fire in his sword and as the ball of energy shot at him, he blocked it. There was a flash of light and neither Neshae, not Dreyfus were harmed.
Hyperactive Moth Man began to create another, but Neshae was on top of him lightning fast, slashing at him with his sword.
The moth ducked and shot the blast, catching Neshae in his side. Though because of how close he was, the moth man was hurt too.
Neshae recovered and slashed once again with his sword. This time, he managed to cut off an antenna. Hyperactive Moth Man howled and backed away. Dreyfus saw his chance and heat butted the moth with his antlers.
Knowing he couldn’t defeat them together while he was alone, Hyperactive Moth Man ran past them and flew out the window.
“What the heck was that?” Neshae asked no one in particular.
“Looks like he was a bad guy.” Dreyfus suggested.
“But what could he have wanted?” Neshae wondered.
Hyperactive Moth Man flew back to his lair. It was a dark place, nearly burned to the ground years ago. All the furniture was gone, and replaced with moth webs and cocoons. Cocoons full of vampires that he’d caught. They were the only species that was able to defeat him. He’d caught them all off guard, of course.
But now one was aware of his attack. And not only that, but he had some strange creature helping him. One that had the potential to beat him as well. How was he going to take over the world with THEM against him.
Then he felt something. There was someone able to help him. He opened a the portal to the world that person was in.
A tall man with a hunting rifle was forced through the portal. He looked around surprised, then his eyes fell on Hyperactive Moth Man and he aimed his gun, taking a step back.
“Hold your fire.” The moth said. “I have a proposition for you. I believe you must be aware of a creature who is part human, fox, and deer.”
The hunter lowered his gun. “Yes. With him as a trophy on my wall, I shall be famous for my skills.”
“Well, he is in my way.” Hyperactive Moth Man pointed out the window in the direction of the vampire’s house. “He is in a black castle-like house a while away from here. See to it that he and his vampire friend do not make it to stop me and you will be rewarded.”
The hunter nodded. “Who are you anyway?” he asked.
“My name is Hyperactive Moth Man.” The moth said. “Who are you?”
The hunter extended a hand. “Bilbo the Hunter, at your service.”
The moth did not take the hand. “You have a mission.”
Bilbo retracted the hand and climbed out the window (they were on the first floor by the way). Then he proceeded in the indicated direction to find the werefoxdeer.
