Description
At first I wanted to do this completely with pastels. I just recieved some pastels, for free, and had never used them before-hand. I think I've decided I will never use them after-hand either. They have no control and arn't very fun. After doing one stroke with the blu, I decided to finish her skirt then use colored pencils for the rest. I ended up using pencil, colored pencil, ink, and oil pastels. The picture is a mock of a picture in my "How to Draw Anime" book that I recieved from Nicky on my birthday. Compared to the original, it looks very similar. I hate lace! I will never do lace again. It's so annoying, even when it's as simplified as this. After the original outline, I got lazy with the coloring. In fact, I'm not happy with her much. But I thought I should put something up.
She reminds me of Alice, from Alice in Wonderland. I guess I shouldn't have gone with the blue, huh?
