sooo um this is my contest entry I had to do for my adv. art elective class in school...
and we had to enter a contest, and she gave us three options...I chose Imagination Celebration. The theme was, well, here:
" “Imagination Powers the Planet” is the theme for the 22nd annual Imagination Celebration festival opening April 19 through May 18, 2008. Explore the relationship between the forces of nature and the power of the arts to transform the way we think; the role that imagination can play in solving the problems of the planet; or that imagination is the force behind creative people looking for creative solutions in protecting the environment."

soooo...I drew me in there at the bottom, just, ya know, powerin the planet with mah imagination xD with the rainbow thingy. I guess the nature stuff would be the world, and the peace signs and stars...the peace signs and heart balloons and rainbow kinda represent naure and love and all that good stuff. and then I used the paintbrush to symbolize art, same with the paint splatter thing. the spaceships to me represent imagination...and uh that's about it :3

I mostly used colored pencil, and marker on a couple occasions. I also used paint markers (THEY'RE RLY COOOL 8D) for the paint part...
