I know...random. I did this at 1 in the morning at Mary's like a long time ago...like this summer. and then I colored it a few days back.
I have like no idea who the random girl with the crazy hair is, but when I sketched it I was doing a girl with a peacock and the peacock was to be like magical and create rainbows and such and then I got tired and delusional and was like 'hahaha peacock!!!' and went crazy with it and then was like 'holy crap...thats too crazy to even be a peacock O:' so I just made her look like she was tripping out.
NOT ON DRUGS. ON IMAAAAGINAATION. GET IT RITE. O:<
so there you have it. and obviously the picture is (c) to me...maybe even the hairstyle o.o

hahaha grunge????? xD grunge was like the flannely 90's look. maybe punk is what you mean. so yah peacocks are 'scene' and also a bit punkish. but I consider emo/scene the same, only scene's brighter and quirkier, less suicidal and depressed and all that fun stuff O: I wouldn't think /you/ to be emo. ((btw the random slashes are a lazy way to make something in italics)) you have practically all flair jeans and your hair isn't choppy and straight...whatever. I get what you mean. like, you like skinny jeans and edgy emo/skater looking shirts...
but like I dunno, your appearance sometimes confuses me xD like one day you're skater/emo with kinda straight hair and your skinny jeans and like a hello kitty shirt, and the next you're like surfer preppyish xDDD but whatever. be yerself. besides I hate labels...which maybe is why I'm such a mix of things. (hahaaaa...I basically just wear whatever the heck I think is cute) but...yah. WHY IS THIS ALL SO HARD FOR PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND!
the mix is myself.
Honestly, I love the ocean. I love skating, and I love bodyboarding, surfing, and casterboarding. So some days, I dress like a surfer, because ultimately, I am a surfer.
Other days, I dress emo, or at least in 99% black, because I'm in a poetic mood.
On mondays or wednesdays, I wear jeans and a sweatshirt, usually with a t-shirt underneath, because I have basketball games/practices after school, which yes, I do really enjoy basketball.
Some days I dress preppy, because I just throw something on so I won't be late for zero.
Other days, I wear some kind of rock thing, because I was listening to a rock song when I got ready, and something is usually making me mad.
basically, I surf/skate/casterboard/swim, play basketball, and write poetry.
that is who I am. and who is anyone to critisize me for being a person with lots of interests. It just shows I am all the more versatile, and that people don't need one style of clothing to define their group or interests.
NOW FOR HAIR.
When my hair is flat ironed, it is because I have the time to fix it, and it is slightly manageable.
When my hair is super curly, it is because I woke up early enough to jump in the shower, then forgot my hair for the rest of the morning.
When my hair is in a ponytail/bun, it is slightly untameable, so I just wanted it out of my face.
Wavy: I brushed out the curls, or came from the beach, where my hair got messy in the wind.
Braids: I had basketball late the night before, was tired, jumped in the shower that night, washed it, and just braided it so I wouldn't have to mess with it at all.
Basically, aside from my rant, it just really pisses me off when people critisize what I wear, or a group I hang out with, or people who hang out with me. What especially makes me mad is when people say, "oh, ya, that poser." WTF? What are friggen posers anyway? Just because you wear black doesn't make you emo, or wear surfer stuff makes you surfer. Just because you are nice to people doesn't mean you are like them or anything.
One thing is for sure:
YES I am slightly emo. You question this- let me show you my poetry binder. It almost made mary cry when she read it.
YES I am a skater. My entire family skateboards, my mom was pro, and I got to the skatepark all the time.
YES I am surfer. I love the ocean, love to surf, love to bodyboard, and if i didn't have zero, there is no doubt in my mind that I wouldn't have been down at the beach at 6:15 AM on Wednesday morning, trying out for girls longboard or bodyboarding for the surf team.
As for my blond hair, as summer approaches, it just gets blonder every day. During the summer, I have a sunburn/tan the entire time, to the point where my nose peels. I wear nothing but shorts, tank tops, and rainbow sandals, with nothing underneath but a bathing suit. I spend practically every summer day on the beach, running, swimming, or surfing. And next year, I'm going out for the swim team.
I make me. I do surf, and the only reason I wouldn't come to school in tank tops, shorts, bathing suits and flip flops is that:
a) it's now against the dress code to wear bathing suits under clothing to school
b) I'd freeze my butt off this time of year.

I understand...I'm a mixture too. maybe not so big a mix but still I'm not just punk or urban or scene or...whatever else I am xD I'm all of it mixed together...but I mean they're kinda similar styles so thats why I was confused on yours. it explains a lot tho. O: and I like your style. mostly the skater/emo/rock look because well you know xD but I like yer skirts/jewelry/boots/bang too :3 yahh.
and I'd love to read your poetry book sometime. maybe tuesday or block :] I'll probably start bawling

um...Rainbow Brite was a show from the 80's. like these little rainbow superhero kids that were all the colors of the rainbow, and Rainbow Brite was rainbow colored and rode around on her unicorn and such. so Barbie musta copied it. rofl xD
