Latests picture from the beach. Its pretty dangerous to use a wide angle lens when working with water (and a camera ofcourse). Because when you look through the viewfinder you cant see that the water is already at your feet (it looks so far away).
Ah well, me and the camera survived

absolutely amazing. i love the colors here...how the sky and the water share a blurred movement, while it still remains peaceful and powerful at the same time. the very front of the wave is my absolute favorite part- contrasted against the sand to show a ragged edge unlike that of the whole pic.

I can't remember the last time I saw a photo with this much energy apparent. Other than the horizon, there aren't any lines here...yet there's so much direction and angles formed by the surf, sun rays, etc.

I REALLY love the sky in that picture, but did you photoshop the waves onto a table or something? Or is the sand just extremely weird looking. o_O

I did edit the colors, but the waves are really like that. Its the blurred motion effect that was caused by dragging the camera backwards that did the trick

Its a rolling wave hitting the beach, so yeah the water is in fact just above the sand.

I grew up in ct, only about a 1/2 hour drive from the ocean, and I love it. now I live in pittsburgh and all we have are the rivers, which I won't touch. this makes me long for the summers my family spent in rhode island on the beach....
