So, I've had this tablet for YEARS and I couldn't get the drivers to work right. Sometimes I could get the pen to work in the most basic form, but mostly it didn't work at all. Had more problems than you could imagine, spent hours on tech forums and swapping emails with Wacom. I'm pretty confident in my computer skill, so my frustration with this problem was immense but, somehow, I got it to work.

I had installed and completely uninstalled every single Intuos driver version that Wacom has ever released in every possible plugged/unplugged, SP2/SP3, mouse/no mouse, and USB auto-install/manual install combination that exists (all at least once and others 2, 3, sometimes 4 times). I made a god damn Excel document to track all potential variations. Nothing worked, and I renewed/abandoned my effor 4 seperate times over the past 2 and 3/4 years.

Then yesterday I renewed my effort for a 5th time, at some point I did something. No idea what, but I threw a new barrage of attempts at my comp and finally the fucking thing just worked. It WORKED. IT STILL WORKS. I WANT THE WORLD TO KNOW THE UTTER ELATION I FEEL! I WANT TO RUN DOWN THE STREET SCREAMING "IT WORKS!!!" I WANT TO BUY 7 BILLION CUTE FUZZY PUPPIES AND GIVE ONE TO EVERY PERSON ON THE PLANET. Of course, this would result in me getting arrested, sent to the looney bin or simply going bankrupt, so I drew this picture instead.

Pen pressure, as you can see, is my main joy.
