I felt the contrary. In Nega-Globby, this bickering between them is just a reminder about how Karmi compares herself all the time, especially towards Hiro. Then Honey Lemon sees this and immediately wants to be friends with her. Hiro learns to leave his "egocentral self" from Tadashi. Maybe with a older sibling aura, Honey Lemon can teach the same towards Karmi. Kids that age, especially geniuses, think that they know everything and can handle everything, when in reality... there so many things to learn about life itself. There's still more episodes to come to deal with this ship. So don't give up hope.
