Description
Wind Cries Mary --Toronto CanadaAfter all the jacks are in their boxes
And the clowns have all gone to bed
You can hear happiness staggering on down the street
Footprints dressed in red
And the wind whispers Mary
A broom is drearily sweeping
Up the broken pieces of yesterday’s life
Somewhere a queen is weeping
Somewhere a king has no wife
And the wind, it cries Mary
The traffic lights they turn up blue tomorrow
And shine their emptiness down on my bed
The tiny island sags downstream
‘Cause the life that lived is, is dead
And the wind screams Mary
Will the wind ever remember
The names it has blown in the past
And with his crutch, it’s old age, and it's wisdom
It whispers no, this will be the last
And the wind cries Mary

These kinds of weatherscapes blow my mind. So inspiring that you can't look away. A stunning moment, I would have loved to have been there.
Do you take a few shots, or a million and one, of these kinds of moments? I look back in photo archives and realise that I barely take my hand off the trigger, except to gape. You have a great gallery and I find myself wanting to see more. I can't wait for the next thing you post.

Just wonderful....I saw Jimi play a couple of time and he was visiting St. Petersburg, FL a couple of months before his departure for this planet...so sad to lose such a talent, it was a year of loss for some many. May they rest in Peace.
Their music lives on...which I refer to as the "Classics". Thanks for the memories. I agree with others this is a fitting photo for his song.
Thank you again....

Height is the big thing. It doesn't seem like 120 feet up would mean that much but it really does,You get only a hint of it from ground level. Also there is a very large dark industrial area in the back that makes great contrasts as the plants are shut down for the evening.
