EDIT: No you cannot get Cullen as a companion in Awakening. This is based off of my fanfiction that is slightly more AU in the second part of it, called Origins Forgotten (predecessor is Origins Written in Blood and follows Origins storyline) in which Cullen ends up in Isthalla's party. He eventually warms up to the group.... eventually.

I love how everyone else is just so embarassed and awkward and Isthalla is all "Yeah I'm doin the templar what else is new?"

This joke has probably been done before, but there's always room for more awkward naughty interruptions!~
