A lock being so solid and durable almost seems sympathetic with ice on it.
I'm not sure if that makes much sense to you but thats how it felt to me.
I never thought I'd call A Lock beautiful.

ha cool, i need to take some zoom shots, i couldn't before cuz i didn't have a good zoom lenz for my camera but i recently got a digicam maybe it'll take good zooms

this is by far one of my favorites of your work. it just seems like a cold, unique shot. (and no, not because of the snow.)

I have seen many "lock pics" on dA which have attempted to be as original as this. The shot is very clear and well balanced. The colours work so well with the snow which in itelf is an inspirational touch. So well composed and very well taken.

The angle is great and the metal against the wood is fantastic. Warm vs. Cold.
