So I know some people were telling me a while ago that I ought to do some Okami fan art... Now that I've actually played a bit of the game (REALLY BADLY, MIGHT I ADD) and seen how beautiful is, I couldn't help myself!

Also, I really like painting on wood.

Ink, acrylic and glaze on wood, about 5x12 inches.

Yes, Okami is a gorgeous game! Before it came out I was like, "Wait. Let me get this straight. It's a game based on Japanese folklore. About a WOLF GOD. In the style of JAPANESE WATER COLOR. And you FIGHT BY PAINTING? ...... *faints with glee*" XD

(the sad thing is, I'm HORRIBLE at doing the brushstrokes in the game... especially circles ;-; )

It is kinda hard to get used to. Some people found the controls easier on the Wii than the PS2; just personal preference I guess.

Ah hmm.... that would do. I just love Ammy so much and your rendition I believe captures Ammy's true nature. Not to mention the styling is spot on with the decor I long for in my room. ^^

AAAH YES. I really enjoy doing brush lineart like this anyway, so it was perfect! I WANT TO DO MORE :0

And yes, it's so beautiful! I'm actually not that far, I was playing my friend's. BUT I'm planning on either getting myself a PS2 this summer, or getting this for Wii. BECAUSE I NEED TO PLAY MORE. Despite my inability to draw circles.

And I have the Wii version, and I feel the brush ..feature is really rewarding. It's super fun.
It's a REALLY fantastic game, the storyline is pretty exciting as well. <3
