Wow, so I've had this scanner for years, and I finally figured out how to get it to scan watercolors properly. Took me long enough, didn't it? Well, this is good, now I don't have to compromise quality whenever I upload any watercolor pictures.

somehow this picture ended up reminding me of Pangur Ban from the Secret of Kells. LOVE that movie, I guess I really do need to do some actual fan art sometime <3
but uh, it's not SUPPOSED to be Pangur Ban, okay guys.... :/
The character belongs to the commissioner.

Love the watercolors marks, as well as the design of the main figure. It does invoke a cat-like being, and the flame-esque fur creates a supernatural vibe. In addition, the abstract background reinforces the spirit aspect.
Have you considered adding color to the work?
