A reference sheet for a superhero/monster hunter oc based of the tale of Little Red Riding Hood :3
Updated for a modern audience :3

Time for her backstory powers and lore

Her name is Red "Hood" Grimms (the "Hood" part of her name being a nickname she got as a child for her wearing a lot of hooded clothing)

She's mixed race (British and African-American) and is around her late 20s/early 30s

She comes from a long heritage of government workers who work for a special part of the Government, one that keeps track of any sort of monsters and mythical threats (think of it like Marvels SHIELD but for monsters lol)

Red's grandma was one of the higher ranking members of the group, and Red always liked to hear about her families work

After retiring from old-age, her Grandma invited both her family and workmates to a retirement party in a cabin out in the woods.
However before she could arrive, she was kidnapped by a gang of werewolf terrorists who had a vendetta against her for locking them up, with one of them using a transformation potion to take her place at the party.

All was going according to plan, but the longer it went on, the more Red started to notice that her grandmother was "off"

After she noticed the disguise starting to go off, Red tried to warn the others but was then held captive by the wolf, as soon the rest of the party was held hostage, with demands being made that both Red and her Grandma would be killed of several more if their pack were not released from prison.

Filled with both fear and a desire to save everyone, her body started to feel warmer, she then suddenly saw that her hands were glowing a bright orange, and were now on FIRE!

She then placed her hands on the arm of the wolf, causing his arm to burn and him dropping her, letting her run of to pick up a nearby silver hatchet, and slashed them in the chest with it, although not before she git slashed across the face and bitten in her arm.

The resulting confusion allowed the other agents and family members to quickly arm themselves and subdue the attackers, along with Grandma doing the same on her side before rushing home
Worried about her granddaughter, she was surprised to hear about her fire powers and how she defended herself.

It turned out that Red's family is actually from a magical background, and that their magic unlocks under intense emotions, but cam be mastered with training.

Eventually, Red would follow in her families footsteps and become part of the agency, helping to keep the public safe from both monsters and other villains.

Very cocky and with more then enough sass, Red is still a very kind lady who wants to look out for others, and is known to bring out the good side in a lot of people

And now for her powers and abilities:

Magic: being part of a line of magic users, Red has learned how to use magic to aid her in combat along with other situations. She knows a variety of elemental magic, and her body armor is enhanced to protect against other magical attacks, as well as traditional knives and bullets

Crossbows: 2 miniature crossbows for when she needs stealth. Arrows are custom made and with multiple versions for different situations

Guns: Along wth the use of magic, Red is also trained in the use of modern firearms, as a backup if her magic fails. Her guns have been enhanced to ne more effective against magical creatures

Hatchet: The same Hatchet she used against the werewolf, its been enchanted to always be summoned to her (ala Thor's hammer), and is also infused with magic

Also, due to her being bitten, she actually has some werewolf DNA in her body. Although she's not able to become a full on werewolf, she has parts of it.
Her body becomes more durable and feels less pain, and she gets a noticeable boost in strength. She also grows fangs, and her eyes glow gold too
