Hello again, this is one of my personal 2D works...Beyond Borders.This is based on my personal thought about how exactly we decide right or wrong in the things we do everyday?
Made with photoshop 7.0 and intuos3 wacom tablet
I spent about 20 - 22 hours for this piece.
Please let me know your comments and critiques.

Although she has lost her feathers, she still seems so peaceful... I like her dress (nice flounces) and hair (just gorgeous!). Upper part of the wings are a bit strange (too triangular), but I guess that it's just because I draw different kind of wings.. Oh, never mind...

First time at your gallery, you do wonderful work but what stood out most was your picture of the angel called "Beyond Boarders". Has a wonderful Victoria feel to it, the atmosphere is wonderful, so peacful and serene. The greyish background set a wonderful atmosphere around her, enhancing the colors that you used into a perfect blend. You main subject is beautiful, to her face, to her long hair, to her pose that you used, to the design of her dress, to her detailed winds, all magnificently done!!! The stone steps and pillar is a wonderful addition to the piece setting it off perfectly-making it an Amazing work of ART!!! Thank you for sharing your art with me and all who love art...

Wow, beautiful. I love the atmosphere and tone set for this piece! The good an evil in here and the pondering thought on the angel's face. Beautiful! I can tell you put a lot of time and effort an most of all, love into this piece. You can always tell when an artist favors a piece of their work =^^=

although the deviation is a very well done piece, it doesnt really (in my personal view) link anything to the question presented. No one is right or wrong in life, neither people nor actions....all falls into a personal view.
For some people, a hero could be their salvation but to others it could be a terrorist, their doom.
Still, congratulations.

Yes.. the angel is pulling the feathers off... You can see from those fallen on the stairs and on the right side of her wings... lots of missing ones..
I'm trying to tell the story of Human (represented by the angel).. we can't tell what is right and what is wrong until there's a rule of it which is made by human (based on majority opinion). Angel here as we all know that.. holy, kind, good.. but she plug her feathers off.. wondering is it a right thing to do? or is it wrong?
Sorry if my explanation not clear enough..

Try and add some more texture to the picture. You have an insane about of coloring detail, but it still looks computery....

Some may say the angels genre has been overdone recently (ahem, see my avatar...), but I love this. It is orginal. In layman's terms it tells a story. It is active in what it presents you with. Plus I love the choice of hair colour
