Description A lot of people ask me what I do for a living. Or rather what I did for a living. After 18 years of Forensic Investigating/Policing
and more then 25 years of dealing with death. I've decided its time to move on. All the missed times with my daughter and family/friends over the years are finally at an end. I've chalked up 1435 autopsies, couple hundred homicides, twice that in suicides, accidents etc over the years.
I've taken just about every kind of photograph in just about every kind of conditions anyone could imagine and not imagine. Even after all those years, I would still come across something that would shock and surprise me. It's called doing your time in the trenches.
Well, I've done my bit for Queen and Country. Time to make up for lost time. Like finally getting to meet my daughters new boyfriend. Giving her another driving lesson. And saddling up my horse for a long, long ride.

And for the very last time (I hope)

I DONT WATCH CSI!!!

It takes a very strong person to do your kind of job ... I take my hat off to you for surviving so long. I wonder if it's the same as it is here ... all the danger and risk and loss of family time and emotional stress ... and almost no recognition or thanks of any kind?

thank you. the usualy time span in forensics is 10 years. and the families got answers which they were grateful for regardless. I like to think I helped give closer to some of them.

That's true. You did good. But doing good in that way is never easy.

LMAO. I hear ya! I spent some nasty years doing crappy stuff in the military before I joined the police. Enjoy your time.
Cheers.
