Description

EDIT 5/6/2019: I really should've made this edit earlier, because a lot of the information in this description has been seriously outdated for several months, now. I just wanted to make that clear, because apparently people still look at this every once in a great while, lol

Welcome friends!
It's a pleasure to have you here!

So, fun fact; This picture was actually supposed to go up a few days ago, but instead of my normal hangups, someone asked if I did requests, and since I'm a nice idiot person, I decided to accept, and I spent the rest of the day and the next day (started early evening and started again in the morning, the next day) drawing the piece and then uploading it. I certainly don't regret it, I'm perhaps just a bit concerned that I may have given the impression that doing requests is a regular thing I do. XD

Clearly, I can, sometimes, but I find it necessary to emphasize the 'sometimes' and the 'maybe', when it comes down to things like this.

Nevertheless; I'm not entirely sure why, but I ended up wanting to wait another day before I uploaded this.

In any case, it's one day later, so here it is!

And I do want to mention one little thing in regard to this particular art piece, however; The general fact that this picture has actually been done for quite a while... since the 31st of July, to be honest...

I had certainly considered uploading it, but again, things happened, (moods happened, guilt happened, everything repeated for a few months afterwards) and I needed something to upload, so I finally decided to put this up, and then another delay happened. So, before I wait for any longer, I really think this needs to be put up. XD

Something else I would like to clarify (if somehow anyone remembers) is that this picture is essentially a "2.0" of a piece I drew and uploaded last year; "Reality's Deception ". I used to use that picture as a "guide" of sorts to the lore of my story, but holy sHEET has that description become outdated. Sometimes I wonder why I thought some of my ideas back then were good. XD

I definitely don't plan on going into as much detail as I did in the old description, but I thought I could still give a little bit of clarification as to what this picture is supposed to represent--Although, given the countless times I've tried, I don't seem to know how to write a "short, easy summary"--emphasis on the "short"--so if you don't mind reading through several paragraphs of lore and such, then you may proceed.

The story is... okay, I'm not even completely sure if it's going to be a trilogy, or not. This is just ridiculous. ( ; ・ω・)

Nevertheless; The actual story is a blend of Science Fiction and Psychological Horror, and revolves around something I would like to call "The Grand Reset", an event in which every single part of reality is fated to be erased and then reborn with new "data". The cause and reason for this event is... a bit interesting.

Aaand this is the part where I refer you to the subjects of the picture (and beat you over the head with several paragraphs of lore) ; The Zenaguard, The Synthesis, The Spectrum, and The Celestial Division. These "groups" are so important to the story, you wouldn't really have a story without them.

Both the Synthesis and The Spectrum encompass a wide range of different species, including their militaries; (the Zenaguard and The Celestial Division, respectively), and each side's respective "overlords", the Yiersen and the Tersetta, the latter two being the figures in the middle of the picture. The Yiersen are the gold, the Tersetta are the red.

In short, the Yiersen and Tersetta specifically, are two, incomprehensibly wise civilizations, eons old, and possessing such a great understanding of reality it wouldn't be inaccurate to refer to them as "gods".

They aren't literally omnipotent or omnipresent or omni-anything, but their level of understanding of how reality works allows for their own individuals to seemingly defy the laws of physics on a regular basis. Collectively, on the other hand... well, it's scary. All on their own, the Yiersen were ultimately able to alter the very structure of space in specific, contained areas, and when they finally met the Tersetta, they taught them how to do it to.

Both sides knew that these altered-regions could prove to be problematic, and so they kept it contained. And as you can probably guess, this didn't go very well. Hell, the only reason the Yiersen met the Tersetta in the first place was because the former had to abandon their original universe after these "altered regions" began to corrupt every pixel of normal space around it.

The problem with this was the altered regions weren't exactly compatible with the laws of physics, as such, it allowed for "game-breaking-exploits", but also very serious harm. At its full potential, anything within the region, including the region itself, would deteriorate into pure information.

This "Corruption" that resulted from the Yiersen's tinkering (although, the Tersetta didn't make matters any better) ended up spreading like mad, and even a universe couldn't contain it, as both sides eventually found out.

The Yiersen did everything in their power to try and wipe the regions clean of corruption--That is, until they got distracted by another, very, big problem. The Tersetta came to the conclusion that saving their current reality was already a lost cause, and that this level of corruption could not be stopped, and would eventually trigger a "Great Reset" after eons and eons of torment, meaning that they believed their only options were to die a slow death, or die instantly.

The Tersetta chose the latter--But not just for their own species. They began attempting to trigger the Great Reset themselves, and... well, the Yiersen actually understood. Neither the Yiersen or Tersetta were angry with each other, but the former still wanted more time, time that the latter weren't willing to give them.

Long story short; The Synthesis (the Yiersen) did everything to try and prevent the Spectrum (the Tersetta) from achieving their goal, and the other side was not willing to give up. A catastrophic war ensues, and the Zenaguard/Celestial Division are both formed.

The Celestial Division is formed by the Spectrum to destroy the Synthesis' primary energy sources (which, for complicated reasons, happens to be planets with sentient life). The Zenaguard is formed in response to this as a counter, while the Yiersen spend the rest of their lives trying to bide more time until the inevitable end.

And yes; Their end was inevitable.

So, maybe my story doesn't have a *happy* ending, but rest assured, all that unfolds is perfectly normal, and is destined to happen always, infinitely, no matter what.   A new cycle will always begin; New universes grow, now devoid of corruption, and new life is created, and inevitably, a new civilization will rise, advance to the point of the Yiersen and Tersetta, and corrupt everything all over again. This corruption cannot be prevented, no matter how hard anyone tries, because in the depths of the vast multiverse, there will be someone who does it, and ultimately contribute to the infinite rebirths of reality.

Yes, I am a little ray of sunshine.

But anyhow, I think I've said enough, so I'm just going to leave things here and go rethink my life.
It means so, so much if you actually read through all of that. And even you didn't, I still want to thank you for dropping by!
