Wowie! One picture in a few days less than a month!

this is what my life has become

Greetings, friends!

Okay, so I know I have a habit of droning on and on aND oN in my descriptions, but for some reason, I feel like I'm not quite sure what to say about this. (And as always, I did it anyway).

Not sure if "surreal" is the right category, but it seems to fit, somehow. Maybe I'm terribly wrong. Maybe I'm just an idiot. Who knows? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I can certainly say it's been a while since I've uploaded any pictures of Lilian (6 months ago... somehow it feels longer than that), but I am mostly satisfied with the way this turned out.

Although she did turn out looking younger than she's supposed to be (she almost looks younger than me, haha), I guess "wide-eyed-innocence" (or lack thereof, haha) could fit the theme.

She's also supposed to be walking this picture, something I've never drawn before (maybe once, but I didn't upload it), so hopefully I didn't screw it up too badly.

Speaking of walking... I can't say I intended her to be walking in the middle of the road, but I guess it fits, either way; Maybe it's a quiet neighborhood, or she just hates her life that much. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you should be interested, this character is related to a "project" of mine. I call it a project because I find it hard to believe I'll ever actually finish the writing-aspect to it, so I've decided to lump the lore and ideas, art, music (yes, I've made several pieces for it, although there's no way to share them, at the moment) and little bits of writing into one, big "project".

It makes me feel not quite as bad about myself. ( ; ・ω・)

The project is called "Reality's Deception", with both elements of Science-Fiction and Psychological Horror, and I've uploaded way too many pictures related to it. XD

I would like to mention that many of the ideas have changed since some of the older pictures, so the descriptions of those are likely to be inaccurate, in some places.

If you want an overall (long) summary of what the plot is based upon, I point you to the description of "Divinity".

Lilian in particular is meant to be the main protagonist of the 1st book, and this particular picture is meant to be a scene near towards the end.

The "project", as I will now call it, has a lot of dark themes in it because I'm an edgy idiot and I love morbid concepts. (*° ᵕ °*)

Okay, but seriously, I do like morbid concepts a lot--Maybe a little too much. I don't intent to sound edgy, I suppose I simply like to explore these subjects, particularly those of a "psychological" nature.

Lilian herself is... not well, to put it lightly.

Although the things she witnessess technically exist in the real world (in a bizarre, corrupted way), constant exposure to these Anomalies are very damaging to her psyche, affecting her even more than they would others due to an accident she was involved in (hence the physical wounds). The details are a bit complicated, so I'll save them for another time, haha.

Long story short; She doesn't get the happiest ending in the world. I'm not completely sure what her ending is going to be, at this point, but they all end the same way. I mean, they have to. Aaand that's a topic for another day. ( ; ・ω・)

Well, somehow, I seemed to have quite a lot to say. This is what my project inspires, I suppose. XD

But I've said enough.

Now it's time to go crawl back in my hole. (*・ᵕ・)ﾉﾞ
