Okay... It looks like Ariel have two personality so far. In mermaid form, she looks like the Ariel we know, but in human form she's a demanding tom boy.

I actually kind of like Ariel's hair. It suits her sort of quirky personality. And I agree with another commenter, Jim looks a bit retro, which causes frightening and hilarious images and plotlines to spawn in my head. xD

And it seems to me that she might have set her hair that way so it wouldn't set on her back and tickle/irritate her; since she's used to it floating in the water and barely touching her. So she placed them in pigtails and put them up front. Maybe??

It's her slightly poofy shorts that freighten me. lol. But I love the look on Jim's face, it's awesome. But what is up with Jim's vest? it's so....retro? but I really could care less for it. He just doesn't look right to me in a vest but it's your art. But I love the fact that Ariel's shirt is on upside down, and Eric looks awesome.
