I honestly don't really know, I assumed it's Nalani cause of her bent dorsal fin.

Cool photo! It's too bad that all the orcas were away for the Dine With Shamu thing when I went.

Thanks!  I know, that is a bummer.  :/  You  should go to Dine sometime though.  It's amazing!

Orcas are the best whales in my opinion.

I think so too.  I really love all whales, but orcas are my favorites!

I like orcas, they're very cool looking sea mammals. That floor has some nice tiles too.

Haha, couldn't agree more.  I absolutely love orcas.  Agreed!  I love how the fast-rising floors look, they're much nicer than bare concrete I think.

I think I'm starting to love dolphins and whales again. xD I used to be obsessed with them, but two works of fiction I like reminded me of it again. Cetaceans make everything better.

Glad to hear it, I certainly love them a lot.  Cetaceans do make everything better.    Like my awesome orca duffel bag which surprises no one.  I was carrying it through the office one day and the woman in charge of us JZKs said "Oh!  You have an orca bag!" And the head of education, who's known me since I was about 7, said "It's Jacqueline.  Of course she has an orca bag."

Thanks!  Yeah, I like them as well.  Those are the fast-rising floors, I think they look better than the plain concrete for sure.

"Look what I can do!!! Pretty neat, right? :0"

So sweetiecute. For some reason the tailfluke is the cutest part about them, if not the scariest...

I feel like orcas (wild and captive!) show off for people because their reactions are so intense. I know I would

Agreed, they're definitely smart enough for that.

Here's a random story I just remembered:

So this guy (we'll name him Paul) is on the beach, walking down a less populated part. He sees a disturbance in the water and goes to check it out. It turns out a baby Orca calf is stuck in a rope and can't move. He cuts the rope off and shoves her into deeper water, where she swims to her mother and leaves.

Fast forward a few years. The female has permanent scars all over her. The guy goes Whale Watching and finds her new Pod on the way. The female, recognizing Paul, swims to the surface and greets him quite jubilantly. She then dissapears under the waves, and Paul thinks the encounter is over.

And then she comes back, deep below the surface. When she comes up, he discovers she's been gently pushing her new calf up so he could get a good look at the new baby!

I don't know how recent that was or how much of it is true, but I liked it ovo

It looks pretty cute in that pose with the belly exposed. Always a cute thing about animals. And orcas do have a nice black and white skin.

I think so too, this was a good pose.  Really the only underwater viewing picture I've ever gotten of a cetacean.  They sure do!  That's one thing I love about them.
