Description
Love thy neighbor and so onThis started as a CD cover design, thats why its square... should have rerendered it with more height, but couldnt really think of anything that would be worth adding...
Someone sunbathing on one of the buildings would have been fun, but Supertramp did that already
Comments and favs appreciated, as always

Cool picture It's so many details.. how did you do to speed up the work process? do you have some special tricks or special program/plugins?

Hm not really I just tried to do every element in the program it would be easiest with, so no complicated particles for clouds and effects, just some photoshop painting instead
Thanks

Amazing job with the details and colors.
Any chance to see wires or maybe breakdown?

building renders are great.
What is greater is that you have accommodated into the scene the signs of battle aftermaths, with the holes, gashes and torn architectures.
Awesome!

Reminds me a bit of Akira when Tokyo blows, very cool. Raw renders always need photoshoping!

Ah normally i try to avoid too much postwork, but i have to admit that fog and clouds are way easier to add in 2d than getting them to look decent in 3d

And take a hell of lot of time off a render!

this is the kind of disaster effect that would look great in a movie, rather than the conventional crap the keep flaunting
nice job
