"Eh, who's that dork with the camera over there?"
"Hey, I didn't want to bring him..."
This is one of those photos that make me wonder if the subjects know they're being photographed.

a greatly captured moment any second later, it would have been too late, a different stare another compostition. I love how effective the little white in this photo is, giving just an outline to the hasidic black clothes. Wonderful.

Exposure, and focus are spot on, digital shot though? Shame, I'm a film fan myself. Still, bloody well done

Wow! The lighting is so amazing! You have captured a great moment here. The hard contrast created by the backlighting against a dark background is brilliant. I've never seen anything like it.

I like it, but i think it would be better as a photograph with neat, clean, black edges.

התמונה אכן חזקה
אבל לא הבנתי את המשמעות מאחורי הכותרת

i think jerusalem would look even more fascinating if "the intruders" whom u describe as "against the time" are cleaned up
(dont take it personally)

Umm. depends if you mean slaughter all the jews yes i am agianst it.
But I meant if the states stopped vetoing every UN resolution so that it could pass. Which might not do much but it'd be a start.
but I understand your point of view.

ofcourse i dont mean slaughtering all the jews
but how about stop slaughtering us
they have killed my whole family
my friends
almost everyone i know
they have destroyed our house my home my sanctuary
they have destroyed my country
for god's sake
why cant u see that why cant the whole world see more than 1800 martyr in 34 days
most of them were women n children
do you have any idea about the way we are living
imagine wakin up everyday to an empty house
u go down the street you see some of your stuff 2 blocks away where your home used to be (because of the missles used)
a whole town has been totally destroyed
u know after seize fire i went back to see if there was still some of my stuff my clothes, my books, photos of my family friends anyone
all i found was the remains of our neighbors..
a rotten burnt hand..maybe the remains of a face
the whole town stunk for like a week because of the corpse of the people who couldnt escape
i dunno wht i am sayin..all i want is to this this this i dunno wht to call i just want it to stop
and once again i tell u no am againt slaughtering the jews. no one ever deserves to go through what we went through but something should be done. this has got to stop
i dont want your pitty i dont need it because the war has ended and the whole world knows that the party described as "terrorists" "Hizbollah"managed to win the war and dont even think of protesting against
wht i am sayin
the whole world knows we kicked their asses
and our VICTORY is DIVINE.

"(dont take it personally)"
Follow your advice.
"imagine wakin up everyday to an empty house"
Yet you still manage to gather your little enough funds to have a computer and pay for internet, sell your comp, sell your internet connection, feed your family.
And for a last point, you are not the only ones who have suffered, stop acting like you are. You complain about 1,800 lives, yet you don't account 6,000,000 lives lost because people didn't accept a perspective. Jews and Muslims are brothers, stop having childish fights and get along. Brothers mostly get along when they grow up. Surprisingly enough, Jewish people came to Israel for the first time in 1800 B.C. or B.C.E. (Back then, known as the "Hebrews"). After becoming enslaved by the babylonians, they were given "Jewish" or "Jews" as a brand name for what they were, slaves. Later, they would migrate to Egypt because of a famine, and you probably know the rest. They made a home for themselves and got attacked by Persians, Babylonians, Romans, Greek, and later, Nazis and Islam extremists. For the love of god, it's a strip of land, concidered holy land, but land. It is shared under the Israeli government, they do not prohibit Muslims from entering. Will the Palestinian government share the land with the Jewish people? I doubt it, they must be so frustrated about a name, a brand, that it will stay in there hearts forever. I wish for peace, I hope all the blind fighting will end, I hope that Jews and Muslims can live together like brothers and fend for each other like they should. Who will make the first move?
My best friend is a Muslim, and I, a Jew, am his.

hello there..
wen i told u wht i did last night i ment that my suffering isnt execlusive to me i never said i am the only one who suffered.
look about 4 months ago, one of the wives of the captivated soldiers (isreali ones) sent a msg to the wife of the secretary general of hizbollah
she told her how "she wakes up everyday to an empty bed.." she asked her help bring him back home..the msg is soooo heart breaking n wen i read it i almost cried cuz i considered the matter from a humanitarian point of view.. i do believe in almost everything u have said except for one fact
n i think its some thing more than magnificet that ur best friend is a moslem n ur a jew..
i hope i didnt offend u in my comment n if i did i apologize because i didnt mean to..n i also hope that u would some how see the subject from our side
n i also wish that i could be ur friend too because it seemed to me that ur a fine person
(i know u dont think of me the same i guess i gave the wrong impression)..
thats it
peace out

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying your side is wrong. It is right in many ways just like the other side is. My only surprise was your comment and then an intense response to the OrendorffKnight's post. You responded so strongly, I thought you were an extremist who doesn't think of it the other way around. About my previous post, I'm not saying at all that all Israeli's are good, and I'm not saying that things aren't really as bad as you say they are. But please, do not blame all of a group of people because of a certain few bad ones. There are extremists of both kinds and I place myself in the middle, poking holes in the arguments of extremists of both sides if their logic makes no sense. I assumed you were an extremist who would refuse to listen to reason and I see I stand corrected because of your calm response to my post. Thank you for responding the way you did and as long as you are willing to listen to perspectives other than your own respectively, we have nothing to fight about and no reason not to be friends.
It's one thing to disagree and fight, the wise disagree respectively and remain friends.
